The votes are counted and America has spoken. Obama will be the 44th president of the United States and the first African American to do so. What are your feelings on this? Do you feel he has what it takes to dig this country out of the hole that Bush burried us in? Why or why not?

Let me start off first by saying I don't know much about politics. In fact the one political course I took in college, American Government, I just squeeked by with a D. I make no claim about being a political genious, hell I don't even go as far to say I am right in my opinions.

With that said over the course of the last year we have watched as McCain and Obama pushed past all their parties candidates. We have sat back and watched both of them make a mockery of their campaign at one point or another. Now I want to know who are you voting for and why?

Personally I don't care for either of them. I think Obama is about as close to a communist as a candidate can get and McCain, not only is he old but he is about as close to a Bush clone as one can get. He nominated Palin as his vice presidential candidate as a stunt to try and pull in the female voters. Only problem, the country is starting to see that she has no experience and she is a hazard to his campaign. The only person on either of these tickets that I feel is qualified to run this country is Biden, but voting Obama in won't put him where he should be.

I am still undecided but I am probably leaning towards the green party on this one. I guess I get to look forward to another 4 or even 8 years of complaining about the incompetence in Washington.
